Trends in Window furnishings 2024
The Newcastle Lake Macquarie area offers a relaxed casual lifestyle and our clients are looking for the coastal look and sheer curtains blowing in the breeze it the look everyone is after. Sheer curtains are our biggest seller.
Given we are in a coastal location our clients want a beachy look using a combination of whites and neutrals ranging from silver to charcoals offer a choice of styles to suit any décor. There are some bold prints available in the market but most of our customers are looking for a softer style.
Sheer Curtains are our most popular item.
Sheer fabrics come is a range of textured and slubby fabrics and although most fabrics are made from polyester there are some beautiful linens available today.
To stop the summer heat customers are opting for a double tracking system and placing a thermal backed lining behind the sheer which also protects floor coverings from fading and keeps you power costs down.

Says “Adding curtains into your lounge room (even if you already have blinds) adds another dimension, it adds texture”
“Its rare that a designer wouldn’t put curtains in a room, because they would know its al about layering”
So floor to ceiling is the answer. This will give the room a sense of height and an illusion that the room is larger than it is
If you want the look ….. its Sheer Curtains !!
Sheers add a beautiful softness to any room, they blow in the breeze and look amazing
